Fab Friday 4

Let's be real...I'm kind of glad this week is over. Don't get me wrong, when bad situations arise you can either see them as the bad they appear to be, or as opportunities to see God move and work. I saw God move and work in amazing ways this week. I was stretched. I was far, far out of my comfort zone (like different country without a translator kind of far). So even though I am incredibly physically and emotionally drained at the end of this week, I am humbly grateful for it. So very, very grateful.
And you know what else? When I thought of writing this post my first thought was, it was such a hard week-I woke up with swollen eyes from tear filled night after night-what in the world could I use to say this week was fabulous? But once I sat down and looked through the pics I had snapped on my phone throughout the week I realized through the pain was some pretty great beauty.

1.) First baby green tomato of the season!! One of my favorite moments of vegetable gardening, the very first fruits of your work!

2.) Amazing bubbly foot soak + a bowl of cookie dough + best friend + Gilmore Girls=one of my favorite girl's night in.

3.) Calm after the storm.

4.) Watching people come together after tragedy never fails to move me to tears. I have seen it time after time after time this week and every single time I lose it completely. It's seeing the love of God in action, in human flesh and blood. It's what makes a tragedy beautiful.
