Hi friends! Welcome to the first Tasty Tuesday of the new year! If you didn't see it yesterday, make sure to go back and read yesterday's post to see the changes that are new to the blog this year, including the changes to recipes!
Around here the name of the game right now is getting back into a routine of sorts. Family and friends have gone home and work is back in full swing, harsh realities that the holidays are officially over. Usually I'm glad to get back into a routine. This year however, I'm a little sad. We had an exceptionally amazing break, we needed that time as a family to just step back and hibernate together to reconnect and that's exactly what we did. So the days are long and the last thing we want to do is come home on these frigid cold nights to still have to figure out dinner.
This meal is as easy as can be, you probably have the few ingredients on hand, and oh yeah--it's just good, delicious, comfort food.
Here's what you'll need…
-4 chicken breasts
-1 can cream of chicken soup
-1/2 cup sour cream
-10 oz. package frozen broccoli
-1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Start by placing chicken in the crockpot and setting it on high for 3 hours or until chicken is completely done.
When chicken is done, drain juice if there is any. Then mix all the other ingredients in a separate bowl and pour over chicken.
Let this cook on high for 1 more hour, then dinner is ready!
This is insanely good by itself, or served over rice. It makes great leftovers the next day as well!!
