Hi friends and welcome to another Tasty Tuesday! Thanks for coming by!
According to the temperature outside, it's already Summer. You won't hear us complaining around here though because at least it's dry and not stormy everyday! When we aren't by the pool we are gathering with friends for cookouts and soaking up the sun.
This pie is a must for any dessert you need this time of year. My mother has made it since I was young enough to have to sneak licking out the bowl and we still love it. It's sweet and creamy, with a nice lemon citrus flavor that screams Summertime! It only takes a few minutes to throw together as well. Here's what you'll need…
1 Baked Graham Cracker crust (store bought or homemade)
1 6oz. frozen lemonade, thawed
1 can sweetened condensed milk
12 oz. Cool Whip
Optional: A few drops of yellow food coloring to enhance the lemon look. You can also use pink food coloring for a Pink Lemonade Pie look. Perfect for bridal/baby showers!!
Mix lemonade and sweetened condensed milk together. Fold in Cool Whip and food coloring if so desired and pour into cooled pie crust. Refrigerate and enjoy!!
