I think about the grief of when a ...Very well said.<br />I think about the grief of when a loved one passes away and realize that even though it's painful, we will appreciate it so much in the afterlife when we are reunited with our loved ones. How wonderful that will be!<br />I think part of being brokenhearted is realizing that it's okay. Sometimes we try to tell ourselves that we need to cheer up, that other people have it worse. Yes, a change of attitude can be good, but when we are truly brokenhearted, it's okay to be sad and we should give ourselves permission to be.
